Families in our district deserve the chance to put down roots, raise their children with confidence, and build a stable future. I’m running for State Representative to ensure Denver remains a place where that is possible – where opportunity is real, and where communities and small businesses can thrive.
Why I’m Running
Growing up during the civil rights movement taught me the values of fairness, opportunity, and speaking up for what is right. Those values guided me to Boston College, to Capitol Hill serving Senator Edward Brooke, and to earning my law degree at Georgetown University. For decades here in Denver, I’ve worked to strengthen neighborhoods, support small businesses, improve transportation connectivity, and expand opportunity for families.
I’m running because every family in House District 2 deserves the stability and opportunity they need to succeed.


Standing up for justice in the face of adversity is a lesson I learned early in life. I knew I had to stand up and speak out for injustice as I watched the civil rights movement unfold before me.
